"The Lunch Lady" (that's me) strives to serve well-balanced nutritious meals. we serve most meals "family style" and talk about which foods are good "fuel" for our bodies! I rarely serve fried foods & we limit processed foods. We aim to serve whole grains and most of our fruits and vegetables start as fresh or frozen with organic options as often as possible.

MONDAY Breakfast: French Toast, Organic Strawberries, & Milk Lunch: Spaghetti, Garden Salad, Cantaloupe, Milk Snack: Apple Slices & Peanut Butter
We do indulge in the occasional pizza or mac-n-cheese day along with celebration desserts during birthdays and holidays. I am a believer that these foods are perfectly fine in moderation but opt for healthier options most days.
